About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

HR Strategy & Planning:
- Work collaboratively with the GLAM Executive and department managers to develop a comprehensive HR plan and identify human resource needs.

Recruitment and Hiring:
- Partner with the Marketing Manager for recruitment advertising.
- Interview and select team members and subcontractors.
- Oversee the onboarding process.

Contracts & Procurement:
- Manage a comprehensive repository of human resources, including but not limited to, employment contracts, subcontractor agreements, and other relevant documentation.
- Issue Request for Proposals (RFPs) for subcontracting needs.
- Develop and manage procurement contracts.

Orientation & Training:
- Design and implement orientation programs for new team members.
- Policy Implementation and Monitoring:
- Ensure team members adhere to company policies and guidelines, and implement disciplinary actions as needed.

Termination Procedures:
- Act as the direct point of contact for terminations, conducting exit interviews and ensuring a smooth transition process.

Supply Management:
- Order and manage team member packages, including but not limited to, welcome kits, uniforms, and equipment as needed.

Requirements




The Human Resource Manager is a strategic partner responsible for the overall management of the human resources function. The role entails collaborating closely with the GLAM Executive and departmental managers to define human resource requirements and ensure the effective and consistent delivery of HR services across the organization.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have an intrapreneurial spirit.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resource Management.

  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.


  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.


Technology Requirements:

  • Must possess a reliable and high-speed internet connection.

  • Must have a personal computer or laptop with up-to-date software.

  • Must own a smartphone with access to email and company communication tools.


Home Office Environment:

  • Must have a dedicated and quiet workspace free from distractions during working hours.

  • The workspace should be ergonomically set up to support prolonged periods of work.

  • Must ensure a professional background for video conferencing.


Availability:

  • Must be available to work during standard business hours as defined by the company.

  • Flexibility to attend virtual meetings or respond to urgent requests outside of standard hours when necessary.


Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in using email, chat, and video conferencing tools effectively.


Self-Management:

  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work

  • Termination Procedures: A Supporter's strong interpersonal skills would be invaluable in handling the sensitive process of terminations, ensuring a smooth transition for all parties involved.
