About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and prepare subfloors for various types of flooring installations.
- Install a wide range of flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, and carpet.
- Measure and cut flooring materials accurately to fit rooms and around obstacles.
- Use specialized tools and equipment for floor installation and finishing.
- Repair or replace damaged flooring materials.
- Ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and electricians, to complete multi-faceted projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of professional flooring installation experience.
Expertise in multiple types of flooring installation.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must have own tools and reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Technology Requirements:
Must own a smartphone with access to email and company communication tools.
Availability:
Must be available to work during standard business hours as defined by the company.
Flexibility to attend virtual meetings or respond to urgent requests outside of standard hours when necessary.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in using email, chat, and video conferencing tools effectively.
Self-Management:
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work
