About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

Store Management:
- Inventory Control: Manage the online store inventory, including procurement and restocking.
- Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of online orders.
- Customer Service: Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns.

Marketing and Sales:
- Promotion Planning: Develop and implement promotional campaigns tailored to our target customer base.
- Website Management: Update and maintain the eCommerce website, ensuring all product descriptions, images, and prices are current.
- Analytics: Monitor store performance using eCommerce analytics tools and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales.

Mission-Driven Activities:
- Community Engagement: Coordinate with the main GLAM TO Make-Ready Services team to identify communities that would benefit from our initiatives.
- Fund Allocation: Work closely with finance to allocate generated revenue towards the mission of aiding those in need.
- Impact Reporting: Produce regular reports detailing how funds from the eCommerce operations are being utilized for social good.

Requirements



As the eCommerce Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our online store. You'll play a critical role in not just maintaining our eCommerce operations but also in executing strategies to increase the impact of our mission. Your work will directly contribute to our efforts to help those in need of shelter and home repairs.


Qualifications:
  • Must have an intrapreneurial spirit.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, eCommerce, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of eCommerce management experience.

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Proficient in eCommerce platforms and analytics tools.

  • An understanding of the mission and a passion for making a social impact.


Technology Requirements:

  • Must possess a reliable and high-speed internet connection.

  • Must have a personal computer or laptop with up-to-date software.

  • Must own a smartphone with access to email and company communication tools.


Home Office Environment:

  • Must have a dedicated and quiet workspace free from distractions during working hours.

  • The workspace should be ergonomically set up to support prolonged periods of work.

  • Must ensure a professional background for video conferencing.


Availability:

  • Must be available to work during standard business hours as defined by the company.

  • Flexibility to attend virtual meetings or respond to urgent requests outside of standard hours when necessary.
